Our first operating market.
Nakuru is where Fontana Blu proves its model on the ground — building a private-beta digital locator on existing revenue-generating bulk-water operations.
A growing city with fragmented water discovery.
Nakuru is one of Kenya’s fastest-growing urban centers. Households and businesses rely on a mix of municipal supply, boreholes, water kiosks, refill stations and tanker operators.
Many of these sources exist, but finding which one is open, what it sells and at what price often relies on word of mouth. That gap is exactly what Fontana Blu is built to close — and Nakuru’s size and diversity make it an ideal launch territory.

Areas in our pilot focus.
Coverage depends on which suppliers have registered and been reviewed for the pilot. Listing availability varies by area and changes over time.
Nakuru Town (CBD)
Central commercial area with dense demand from households, offices and hospitality.
Pipeline
Fast-growing residential estates with significant household storage needs.
Lanet
Expanding residential and institutional area on the eastern side of town.
Kiamunyi
Growing suburban neighborhood with many borehole-dependent homes.
Njoro Road corridor
Mixed residential, educational and commercial activity toward the west.
Surrounding estates
Additional areas are added as suppliers register and are verified.
On the ground, every week.
Our operating team brings direct experience in water supply and tanker collection. The present bulk-water operation primarily serves tanker collection for non-drinking applications.
Commercial operations began in June 2025, with an operating water source, existing bulk-water sales and water-storage infrastructure.
Since launch: more than 12 million litres supplied and more than 2,000 tanker loads completed. Typical monthly supply is approximately 1 million or more litres, with capacity up to 100,000 litres per day.
One installed water ATM forms part of the future refill network; treated drinking-water dispensing is not currently claimed.
Figures reflect Fontana Blu’s operating records and may be updated as monthly records are reconciled.
Power reliability
Pumping operations depend on electricity that isn't always constant.
Storage capacity
Tank sizes and maintenance shape how much supply is available.
Transport logistics
Road conditions and vehicle availability affect tanker collection and future delivery planning.
Seasonal shifts
Dry and rainy seasons change both demand and supply.
What we aim to change.
These are the outcomes we are working toward and measuring during the pilot.
Less search time
Know what's open and nearby before leaving home.
Price transparency
Compare declared prices so customers can plan and budget.
Local enterprise
Help independent suppliers reach new customers digitally.
